For almost 11 years, I had been providing medical care for children and women at the mental clinic Rakkoring in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City. During this time, I had the opportunity to see many children who had difficulty in attending school (DAS) or school absenteeism, but unfortunately I closed the Rakkoring in November 2022. The report of aggregating information on DAS obtained through the medical treatment of children during this period were previously opened in Japanese. Thereafter, I worked on an English translation so that overseas researchers could understand the current situation regarding the DAS in Japan. Although it is written in poor English, I hope that the English version of the report will provide some information to English-speaking people. The report consists of three parts in total, and this English translation is the material part of the first part. The English version of the report is available on “Chamber of Laboratory” under the website “Chambers of Rakkoring.” Anyone is free to visit the “Chambers of Rakkoring” and view the contents. There are other chambers in the “Chambers of Rakkoring”. In addition to the “Chamber of Consultation”, you can freely view the Chambers of Materials, Library, Music, Laboratory, and Study. Although many of the works are written in Japanese (novels, music, etc.), there is also an English version of them. So if you are interested, please take a look. The “Chamber of Consultation” is a small room where people with mental problems can consult in Japanese with a consultation fee.
