「ラッコリンの小部屋」の「図書室」にSF小説『人魚伝説』を掲載しました。
人類にとって不可思議と思われてきた出来事を、両生類から創造主によって進化させられた“人魚”のマーフォークが関与しているという伝説(仮説)です。すなわち、アトランティス、アスカ、バーミューダトライアングル、インカ／マヤの石積み技術、海底ピラミッド、パレンケ石棺、マーメイド、アマビエ、マーライオン、UFO、NASA、などがマーフォークに関わる遺跡や出来事という“伝説”です。楽しんでお読みいただければ幸甚です。

Japanese version has already been posted here. This is a fantasy about the future of education in a narrative style. Tourists from all over the world take part in school tours at Milai Al Cana School in somewhere country sometime in the near future, and Ms. Peda, a representative teacher of the school acts as a tour guide. I hope that the narration of this guide will be an opportunity to reconsider the current state of education.

未来のどこかの国にある Milai Al Cana 学校に世界各国から見学に来た人たちが、学校紹介ツアーのガイド役教員に案内されながら、新しい教育システムを学んでゆく物語です。ガイドの説明を通して、教育の持つ意味や現在の教育システムについて考えていただければ幸いです。むろんここに紹介されている教育システムは学術的なものではなく、ある種のファンタジーと考えていただきたいと思います。この物語を書いた動機は、わが国の急増する”不登校”に対する理解と対策を、成績至上主義的な現在の教育とは異なる観点から考えてみることを提言するものです。

This story is a diary about the Rakkoring family in 2038~2048. "I" returned to the Rakkoring house, and thereafter the whole family was together, but it was also a day of permanent goodbye. In reality, there is no such farewell as a "happy goodbye" to any loving family members, but because we are alive, we will definitely have a goodbye. It is inevitable that there is sadness and loneliness in any departure, but if it is a fulfilled "farewell", there will be no greater happiness. I made this work in the hope that such a farewell would come. April 2023.

この物語は2038年～2048年におけるラッコリン家族を描いた日記です。「私」がラッコリン宅に帰還してやがて、家族全員がそろう日が来ますが、それは永久の別れの日でもありました。現実には愛し合う家族にとって「幸せな別れ」というものはないでしょうが、生きている以上、別れを必ず迎えることになります。その別れには悲しさや淋しさがあるのは当然ですが、満たされた「別れ」であればこれ以上の幸せはないでしょう。そのような別れが訪れることを願ってこの作品を作りました。作者　2023年4月

This story is inspired by Souseki Natsume’s novel "Wagahai ha Neko dearu (I am a cat)"
and unfolds the world from the eyes of the sister Milin of our two cats: "Milin" and
"Rakkoring (Ratch)". Both of them are living well in Vancouver, but I feel sad to think
that they are destined to die here without ever seeing their birthplace again. I hope that
we will be able to watch over these two cats as an important family member until the

このお話は、夏目漱石の『吾輩は猫である』からヒントを得て、我が家の 2 匹のネコ―“みりん”と“ラッコリン(ラッチ)”―の姉ネコのみりんの目からみた世界が繰り広げられています。バンクーバーで 2 匹とも元気に過ごしていますが、この 2 匹は生まれ故郷を再度見ることなく、この地で逝く運命と思うと、何か切ない気持ちがします。この 2 匹を大切な家族として最後まで見守ることができればと願っています。著者 　2023年 4 月

I wrote this satirical novel inspired by "Chaplin's Dictator", so I called it "Returned Again". Yet another implication is that after World War II, we hoped that there would be no more barbaric dictators who would invade other countries by force, but this expectation was easily betrayed and the dictator returned again to history. As in Chaplin's Dictator, a poor farmer resembles the director in appearance and swaps with him by mistake. He devises one plan and decides to end the invading war. But this novel has a short afterthought. I wrote this novel in the hope that a world without stupid wars and dictators would come.

この風刺小説は『チャップリンの独裁者』からヒントを得て書きましたので『戻ってきた』としました。さらにもう一つの含みは、第 2 次世界大戦が終了し、他国に武力で押し入るような野蛮な独裁者はもはや現れないことを願っていましたが、この期待はあっさりと裏切られ、独裁者が現実に歴史に戻ってきたことです。『チャップリンの独裁者』のように独裁者が入れ替わり、侵略戦争を終わらせますが、この小説には短い事後談があります。愚かな戦争や独裁者のいない世界が来ることを願って本書を書きました。

The story is divided into three parts, the first and third parts allegorically cover the scenes of their deaths of famous people in history. In the second part, the secret of the immortal "life" is revealed, and what the book of Genesis tells is "life".And even after death, "life" continues to live in the newly born individual in the samsara, which is the three-part ending.We hope that you will think about the meaning of life and death through these fables. この物語は3部から構成され、1部と3部は歴史上の有名人物について、寓話的にその死の場面を取り上げています。2部では不滅の『生命』の秘密が明かされ、創世記が伝えるものが『生命』であることが語られています。そして死後にも『生命』は存続し、輪廻の中で新たに誕生した個体の中で生き続けるという3部の結末になります。これらの寓話を通して人生や死の意味を考えていただくことができれば幸いです。著者　2023年3月
